As Leporello, with Cheryl Enever as Elvira

Nick was born on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus and, having been educated at Bedford School and the University of Manchester, trained with Robert Alderson at the Royal Northern College of Music and Boris Bakow at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, before receiving private tuition from Jennifer Dakin (Royal Academy of Music).  He currently trains with Peter Medhurst. 

An award winning classical bass-baritone, he has appeared in performances and concerts across the UK and Europe, including venues such as St. John's Smith Square, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Schloss Hellbrunn, and Salzburg Cathedral, and has appeared on both BBC Radio and Channel 4.  He is principal baritone with Opera Piccolina, performing the title roles in Le nozze di Figaro and Don Pasquale, Tonio Pagliacci, Guglielmo Cosi fan tutte, Prince Gremin Eugene Onegin,
Belcore L’elisir d’amore, Ben The Telephone, Marcello and Colline La Boheme, Doctor Falke Die Fledermaus, Il Sagrestano Tosca, and Masetto Don Giovanni in venues owned by The National Trust and English Heritage, as well as at privately owned houses including Wilton House, Hatfield House and Arundel Castle.  Other roles include Papageno The Magic Flute for The Classical Music Company; Escamillo Carmen and Schaunard La Boheme for Commedia Opera; Il Sagrestano & Sciarrone Tosca and King of Egypt Aida for South Downs Opera; Melchior Amahl & the Night Visitors, Leporello Don Giovanni, and the title role in Debbie Rose’s The Selfish Giant for Opera Anywhere; The Father Hänsel und Gretel and Giorgio Talbot Maria Stuarda for Operatique; and The Vicar Albert Herring for Operamus, as well as Doctor Bartolo The Barber of Seville, Raimbaud Le Comte Ory, Méphistophélès Faust, and Danilo The Merry Widow
 
He has a close relationship with Sussex County Cricket Club, having been a member for over twenty years, and recent events have included singing "Sussex by the Sea" on the Hove pitch prior to the NatWest T20 Blast Quarter-Final with Northamptonshire, broadcast live on Sky Sports, and also singing at the club's recent 175th Anniversary carol service. 
 
Nick was baritone soloist with the Salzburger Domchor under Janos Czifra, and is much in demand as a concert performer. Recent engagements include Fauré’s and Duruflé’s Requiem Mass, Haydn’s Theresienmesse and Missa Sancti Nicolai, Monteverdi’s Vespers, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, Schubert’s Mass No.2 in G, Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, Finzi’s In Terra Pax, Rossini's Petite Messe Solenelle, Purcell’s Te Deum in D, Mozart’s Requiem, C minor Mass, and Missa Brevis in D, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation and Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols.
